Thomas W Coombs is a writer and photographer based in Kent, England. Along with being the Owner and Editor-in-Chief of The Fake Intellectual, an online magazine, established in 2015, publishing his own written essays and articles along with curated articles by others. With a keen eye for detail and a passion for storytelling, his diverse portfolio showcases his creativity and dedication to craft, making him a standout in the field. He has contributed to various online publications over the years, among them a slow luxury newsletter Gents Cafe.

 

After gaining experience in the Kent music scene, starting by reviewing releases, he went on to run events and booking acts for festivals.  More recently Thomas has been working with online publications across the globe to create meaningful articles on slow luxury and lifestyle.  His passion for setting a scene and a mood led him to picking up a camera and has been hired to take festival photos along with family portraits, though not done as career he feels this brings him a different aspect to the world writing doesn't and they compliment his creative side perfectly.
